The 2.2 million-square-foot Starrett-Lehigh Building was completed in 1932: the freight distribution building originally had a railroad as its ground floor occupant. The land marked exterior designed designed by Cory & Cory architects has 8 miles of ribbon windows alternating with plain brick bands.
